DOUGLAS A. RILEY, CFA
PORTFOLIO MANAGER
Mr. Riley is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Large Cap Core equity strategies, covering both Growth and Value styles, and serves as Co‒Manager of the firm’s Global Equity product. He brings over thirty years of fundamental, technical, and quantitative investment experience to the equity team, playing key roles in launching the firm’s Large Cap Growth and Small Cap Growth products as well as spearheading asset allocation analysis and portfolio strategy. He has extensive financial writing experience serving both internal and external clients, including the creation of Investment Policy Statements and manager‒specific guidelines. As a member of the Institutional Investment team, Mr. Riley chairs the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Riley was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Babson‒United Investment Advisors. In addition to serving as Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee, he managed private accounts for high‒net-worth clients and institutional portfolios and was instrumental in the development and implementation of a quantitatively‒based stock selection process. He earned a BBA with a concentration in finance from Emory University and received his MBA from Northeastern University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston.
