KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ASSET ADVISORS ANNOUNCES FAITH-BASED INVESTMENT SOLUTIONS

NEWS RELEASE

Newly formed organization will provide faith-based investment options with Catholic screening

(New Haven, Conn.) — The newly created Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors announced today the creation of four faith-based investment solutions specifically designed to meet the needs of Catholic institutions.

Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors is a registered investment adviser and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Knights of Columbus – the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization. The Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors’ investment team is composed of the same in-house group of portfolio managers, credit analysts and traders that manage the Knights of Columbus’s $22 billion in assets.

"The Catholic community has traditionally been served by investment managers with a broad, rather than a Catholic, focus," said Supreme Knight and CEO Carl Anderson of the organization’s new strategic initiative. "We believe a Catholic firm committed to Catholic values can offer a more compelling solution for Catholic entities."

Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors' suite of four services includes a set of separate account strategies and the opportunity to invest in six Knights of Columbus mutual funds, including fixed-income and domestic and international equity funds. Knights of Columbus has made a significant investment in the launch of Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors, including an aggregate seed investment in the Knights of Columbus Funds of approximately $200 million.

Other services include model portfolios that offer diversification and a range of risk/reward scenarios, as well as asset allocation and rebalancing. Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors also offers an outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) service.

Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors’ services are specifically designed for Catholic institutional investors, and its mutual funds are managed in compliance with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) investment guidelines.

"As an organization grounded in Catholic values and with a track record of growth and success with our insurance, annuity and Catholic lending businesses, we offer a compelling solution for Catholic institutions seeking investment options," said Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors’ President and Chief Investment Officer, Anthony Minopoli.
